Same Place, Same Season...
There are some times when the right place is just RIGHT. When I first met the Hall family 2 years ago, we did a grand Extended Session with grandma and great grandma and another sibling family at Morven Park. We did all the breakdowns, all the groups, and all the smiles. The youngest was only 6 months old, and the older generations wanted some memories of the whole family. Morven Park worked out so well with various backdrops, lots of space, and natural beauty. When the family reached out to me for photos this fall, it was so lovely that we landed at Morven Park once again!
We started out at the Reflecting Pool, where a perfectly placed bench was just the right size! While the littlest needed some time to warm up his smiles, big sister was ready for her close-up from the first moment. The middlest? All charm and chaos (and completely goofy!), just as he should be. We snapped a few family photos and some of the three kiddos, then moved on to a large tree while we waited for another photographer to complete shots down by the Davis Masoleum. I LOVE these ones! The jeweled tones of their outfits and the fun location and smiles we got are just so much fun!
We were able to get individuals of all the kids at the tree (can't wait to share the full session with these - so many awesome expressions!), along with the family, and then walked along to the more manicured section near the masoleum. Another (bigger) bench was available, along with some beautiful fall blooms in the gardens and along the hedgerows. It's hard to believe we only needed 20 minutes for all these different poses, locations, and groups, and yet there are SO many wonderful photos for the Hall family to enjoy for many years to come from this session. We have a few that will pair nicely with photos from 2 years ago here, too! I'm so glad you reached out - and I can't wait to work with you all again in the future! Thank you!
