The Wenz Family
Making A Home
When I first met the Wenz family last year, they were just moving in to a cozy little home in Arlington. It was so new that new lighting fixtures were still being installed and there wasn't yet a couch in the living room. Little Connor was 6 months old, and there was a need for some updated family photos for their walls. This year, when Mom reached out for a yearly family photo, I was so excited to do a repeat at their home again!
We kept the first backdrop the same - their front porch. New color scheme for outfits (greens instead of blues!), and Connor had a few more teeth, and he was much more interested in me this time! He's walking about instead of just holding himself upright in a sitting position, but still smily and full of all the expressions. I snapped a few of him alone while we had the opportunity, too. It's truly amazing how quickly time flies by and how much little ones grown in that time.
After, we went to the backyard for a bit of greenery and a change of scenery as well. I took a few more family photos as we chatted about life changes, food allergies, and milestones. Next, we posed a few of just Mom with Connor and just Dad with Connor to round out the family photo time. I love watching how these adoring parents interact with their little one - feeling free to be silly to get smiles, doting looks, and little snuggles. This kid has it made in the parent department!
What a joy to spend time with clients who have meaningful conversations, who love each other, and allow me the honor of capturing their moments in their own home! Looking forward to reconnecting in a few years and seeing how much has changed!
