A Touch of Pink
When I first meet a client, my hope is that our interactions are easy, down to earth, and make the photo session less stressful and more fun. After the session, my hope is that they like the images and experience enough to call me a second time. For the Edwards Family, I had the privilege of getting through this process in just a few weeks! I met the family when Mom was only 2 weeks from her due date - a maternity and family session that was all about that moment with the two boys. Once I got the email that little Veronica was born and they wanted me to come and take her newborn photos, I was overjoyed!
I was welcomed warmly into their home, life ebbing and flowing around me as I set up a "pseudo-studio" in the living room. With two boys busy with life and sports and energy and a little girl who entered the world, life can be very full! Once everyone was ready (little V needed some liquid encouragement before her big photo debut), we took some family photos and some sibling photos. She was so chill, letting everyone take turns holding her, helping to recreate a few images from when the middlest was a baby, too.
For her solo time, Veronica had the perfect balance between awake and asleep. We captured a few with bunnies - the theme of her nursery, mom's inspiration, and the boys' execution. As long as we kept her little toes warm, she was a peaceful little girl among it all! She is so loved and adored by her two big brothers, and mom and dad are clearly enamored. We swapped a few wraps and backdrops to give her a bit of variety, and then wrapped it all up.
This little girl will grow up to have a pair of protective and adoring older brothers, ready to help with the rough and tumble, and there to hold her hand. I can't wait to see how this babe changes and grows as she weaves her way into this beautiful life around her!
Welcome to the world, Veronica!
