Radhe's Newborn Session
Flowers and Frills
I first heard from this lovely family as a referral from another client (I LOVE these!) who I had also done newborn photos for just a month or so ago. The Ramoliya family came to me with a bit of a twist as we booked: they didn't know the gender of the soon-to-be newborn. Easy enough to book, and once the baby was born, they let me know so I could plan backdrops and props to bring with me for the photo shoot. A baby girl: Radhe! I was excited to have some. new props to use with this little babe.
I was greeted warmly and unloaded my equipment in their home. We started with some sweet photos with the grandparents, who were present for the session. It's always so wonderful to see the family come around to support mom and dad as they bring a newborn into the home! Little Radhe was quite cozy as long as she was in someone's arms, so we did family pictures next. Mama was doing a great job, especially given that she was still recovering from the birth! I adjusted poses so that we could keep her standing up, too.
Then it was time for Radhe's solo photos! We used some of my props and wraps along with some headbands and props that the family had brought down to include, and I loved Mom's request to capture some photos of her hands and feet - they are so tiny! There were the typical pauses for feeding and diaper changes, and little Radhe did not enjoy the cooler air of the room, so we kept her as warm as possible with wraps and soft cuddly spots to lay. By the end, she was tired out, but held on for those last few photos with a special stuffy.
The whole family kept such a close eye on this little one. There was always someone there to take her in their arms, ready with a diaper or bottle or blanket during the session. This little girl is in a loving home surrounded by so much care and joy! Welcome to the world, Radhe!
